OSK Investment Challenge (Campus Edition) Will Soon Begin Again.

If you missed your chance at honour, glory and riches, you now have the opportunity to try again this 13 August 2012.

Well if you have not heard of OSKIC, you should check it out now! It is an investment challenge, known as OSK Investment Challenge (OSKIC), which offers attractive grand prizes to university or college student participants.

As a student, not all of us have the cash or capital to start on investing in the real market. Therefore, this is a great chance for students to hands on the experience of real stock exchange in the market with a virtual capital. It is also an eye opener to all inexperienced students in the field of investment. Meanwhile, it also helps student to learn something out of class experience.

The OSK Investment Challenge (OSKIC) is open to Malaysian students from local universities and colleges. It is also known as a virtual investing competition, where participants will be given a virtual money worth RM100,000 to trade based on actual real-time stock prices. Normally, the competition will be conducted in a certain amount of period for competition.

From my point of view, the results of participating the competition is not so important. What we can gain the most from the platform is we are able to create awareness on stock market investing as a viable alternative to generating returns.

With this platform, it definitely could bring more benefit for young Malaysian traders and investors of the future.
